Visit of the Delegation of the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Saudi Export Development Authority to Utopia Pharmaceutical Factory
Utopia Pharma welcomed a high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Saudi Export Development Authority, headed by His Excellency Eng. Khalil bin Ibrahim bin Salamah, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs, along with several senior officials from both entities. The visit comes within the framework of strengthening industrial and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the field of pharmaceutical industries.
The visit was also attended by a delegation from the Egyptian Drug Authority, including:
Dr. Tamer El-Husseiny – Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Drug Authority
Dr. Amira Mahmoud – Assistant Chairman for Inspection and Head of the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Establishments Inspection
Dr. Osama Hatem – Assistant Chairman for International Cooperation and Head of the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Policies and Market Support
Along with representatives from the International Cooperation Sector, Investment Sector, and Pharmaceutical Inspection Sectors.

During the visit, the delegation conducted a comprehensive tour of the production area at Utopia’s factory, where members expressed their strong admiration for the facility’s advanced design, high standards of quality, and compliance with international GMP standards (cGMP), as well as the modern technologies used that reflect the industrial advancement in the pharmaceutical sector.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency the Deputy Minister praised Utopia Pharma’s efforts in supporting the pharmaceutical industry and enhancing regional cooperation opportunities, emphasizing the importance of continued partnerships between the two brotherly nations in achieving industrial integration between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
